I am a clinical psychologist and psychoanalyst with a practice based in New York City. I am on the editorial board for the journal Studies in Gender & Sexuality and a clinical supervisor at Pulsion: The International Institute of Psychoanalysis and Psychoanalytic Psychosomatics in New York. My current writing navigates the intersections of psychoanalysis and gender studies, and I have presented my work on maternal subjectivity, reproductive technology and the symbolization of the death drive at national and international conferences. I am a graduate of the NYU Postdoctoral Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis.

I have served as the Executive Co-Director of the New York Institute for Psychotherapy Training in Infancy, Childhood, and Adolescence and as Clinical Director of the Karen Horney Clinic's September 11th Trauma Program. As an Adjunct Supervisor at the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, Yeshiva University, I provided psychoanalytic supervision to doctoral students. Additionally, I worked as a Volunteer Psychologist with survivors of human rights abuses seeking political asylum at Health Right International.

I am an active member of APA, Division 39 (Psychoanalysis and Psychoanalytic Psychology), International Association for Relational Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy, and the International Psychoanalytic Association.
